When Harry and Ron begin making up predictions in their Divination homework in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, they happen to predict, exactly, the dangers that await Harry in the Triwizard Tournament: first that he will be "in danger of burns" (the first trial of overcoming a dragon); next that he will "lose a treasured possession" (Ron, his best friend, whom he will have to recover from the Merpeople) and Ron says that he'll drown (he's submerged in the Black Lake); then get "stabbed in the back by someone you thought was a friend" (his D.A.D.A. professor); and finally "come off worse in a fight" (clearly, his duel with Lord Voldemort in the Little Hangleton Graveyard).
Don't you think its kinda weird that Harry and Hermione never had feelings for each other? I mean I know Hermione and Ron were meant for each other and I wouldn't want it any other way, but to be that close to someone and to go though what they have gone though together, To have absolutely no feelings at all other then friendship. I just think thats kinda strange.

I think that the reason Harry and Hermione dont have feelings like that for eachother is because in their first year or two being friends, they were little kids, and then when they were older, they thought of eachother like brother and sister, you know? Or, maybe they did have feelings like that at one point, and it just wasnt mentioned. But in GoF, I think it is, when Ron and Hermione are fighting and theres obviously some raging hormones going on, Harry is thinking and it says something about that he had a feeling Ron and Hermione might end up together or something, I dont really remember :P
