You know you're a dork when...

...there's a dance at your school, all your friends are going, but you'd rather be at home rereading a fan fiction that's been going on a while and you can't remember all the fuzzy details. (The Life and Times) 

Actually, I didn't end up doing either, I babysat, while wishing I were at the dance. Wow, I have difficulties making up my mind.
